RoofingQuote follow-upThe problem
Roof replacements are big decisions. Homeowners stall, and a thoughtful follow-up often decides who gets the job.
Steps
- Note the estimate details and any concerns the homeowner raised.
- Run the prompt.
- Send from your own phone/email; log replies.
- Never pressure with fake deadlines.
Copy-paste prompt
Replace everything in [BRACKETS]. Works in ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini.
Write 3 follow-up messages for a roofing estimate. Customer: [NAME]. Job: [e.g. full asphalt shingle replacement, 28 squares], price [PRICE], sent [DATE]. Concerns they mentioned: [e.g. cost, timing, insurance]. Message 1 (day 3): answer their main concern simply. Message 2 (day 8): explain what's included (tear-off, underlayment, cleanup, warranty [DETAILS]). Message 3 (day 15): polite close-the-loop asking if they'd like to proceed, wait, or pass. Under 80 words each. Don't give insurance advice or invent facts.
